We are very familiar with the name of Lord Buddha and Buddhism. As per our ancient historic books, monuments and historic evidences we know Lord Buddha discovered Buddhism between sixth century and fourth century BCE. I say that He came to a stage in his life when he felt the things he was told or taught inside the premises of his Kingdom, were not perfectly said or perhaps it was not completely known by the religious scholars of his time. When he saw different realistic cases in the society, he started his journey for Truth. Why he needed to start his journey for Truth? Though He was a prince, he had many intelligent people to teach him what the truth is but he chose his own way to find the truth. Didn’t other religion exist at that time which leads a person to salvation? Or did he never learn the religious and pious facts from his teachers? When these questions strike into my mind, I make an assumption and treat his like a boy who never wanted to follow others without knowing what is right or wrong in their teachings and recognitions. He wished to feel the truth. He roamed, met different types of people, observed their lifestyle and living ideologies, but didn’t agree or satisfy. Perhaps he felt some sculpture miswritten, unsaid and misunderstood by religious scholars. But he had to know about the truth and lead his life and others towards salvation. He couldn’t accept what was told or well defined or seen in society. He took the risk and showed his courage and enthusiasm to meet the God and became a monk, the saint, Lord Buddha to enlighten the world by his teachings; and now he has his own followers who follow his teachings not others. His experiences in life, his perception about life and his teachings and preaching wholly discovered a new religion Buddhism which is still followed by many people in the world, called Buddhist.

Dear readers,

This is the fourth article of the series ‘EXISTENCE OF GOD’. Earlier I have discussed my opinion with you of having belief in god and a conflicting sound of  his existence. I have a better response in last two days, on my last article ‘Article no.3 series of ‘EXISTENCE OF GOD’ , where somebody asked me few questions regarding my thoughts which I shared with you earlier. We will discuss on that topic in this article.

TODAY’S DISCUSSION:

All I have shared with you in my earlier articles, firstly, is my personal assumption, my imagination and my perception for the existence of god, which is the base of my articles, not more than. I belief in god but whenever I try to find him in our surroundings, I fail; whenever I try to listen a sound of his commitment , I fail; but still I believe in and most of all do the same. They believe in their gods, who they pray for and believe that he is their creator and he is their divine parents.

In my second article I wanted you to think like an infant who never knows who is God and where he exists. He is always told by his parents and his society. But initially parents are the first who makes him known of having a religion, to follow customs and to believe in what they (gods or their teachings i.e. by prophets or via religious books) said. It doesn’t matter who you are, a Muslim or a Hindu or a Christian or others, but the thing matters that you are a human first and you are only able to know what you are taught by others or what you have learnt on your own. Is it better to follow your own way to find or feel the god, though you know the other’s way where there is no space for Humanity and only hypocrites, terrorists and homicides exist? I couldn’t see my God, who I believe in, there, on their way but I want to choose my own way to find him because I felt him in my life once, which makes me the person who is Theist, which encourages me to see a peaceful, happy and similar world for all, where no customs, no boundaries, no fight in the name of religion, no harm of Humanity would occur or would be performed or followed by any one.

For me, if I believe that he exists, only because of my parents as they gave me birth and made me known of our gods and religion; and God also did so according to our holy books, hearings from prophets, religious beliefs and others. So he would never want me to fight with my brothers-sisters and with my own family. I learnt the things from religious activities, my observations and my experiences in my life. I’m Hindu and I think if you are a Hindu or Muslim or Christian or others, according to the best of my knowledge and experiences , we consider God as our father, mother, our family or our guardian, who made us , gave us lives and instructed us by several means either via teachings of prophets, religious holy books or on his own sound and speech, he would never want us to fight with our own family in his name, if he’s really unique and similar to all; if he isn’t, then they (gods) are really just like the historic emperors having their own people and ideologies, who only want to enhance their kingdoms at any cost. They are not god but just like us.

NEW YEAR WISHES AND THANK YOU NOTE

Dear all readers,

On the occasion of the upcoming New Year 2016 and a fantastic farewell to the year 2015, I am writing here to thank all of you for your valuable reading and comments. I am very lucky that I have your support and love since last one year. Here’s something in my mind I want to share with all of you guys.

तिल-तिल मरता हूँ, रुसवाई से डरता हूँ

तू सुनती है, इतराती है,

फिर मुँहफेरकर चली जातीहै

तू कहती पराया मैं अपना मानता हू

तू हँसती है, खिलखिलती है,

अगले ही पल दूर चली जाती है

दिल्ली का सब्जी बाज़ार

हर बुधवार में, रोज शाम, दिल्ली का सब्जी बाज़ार

दाएँ हाथ संग बाएँ हाथ भी,लगा दिल्ली का सब्जी बाज़ार

बीच सड़क पर चलते लोग, धक्का– मुक्की और मंद चाल
पूछ- पूछ आगे बढ़ते, आलू, भिंडी और प्याज के दाम

यहीं लड़ते दिखते हैं धनवान दो पैसो का करते मोल
दुकानदार कुछ पैसे पाने को रखता सब्जी सोने की तोल

नारी दिखती आनन-फानन में, कुछ ताज़ी सभी पाने को
वहीं कुछ खरीदें कॅट्पीस सब्जियाँ, मास खर्च बचाने को
हफ्ते भर की ले लूँ भाजी,फिर अगले हफ्ते ये बाज़ार लगेगा
कहते हुए बोली एक महिला.” भैयाये कटहल कितने में देगा?”

“ चालीस के भाव से अच्छा है फूलगोभी ही ले लूँगी

पर भैया मैं बीस नही बस पंद्रह इसके दूँगी”

“ नहीं बेहन जी महँगाई है, शाक उपज नहीं है

धनिया-मिर्ची भी डाले देता हूँ बस दाम सिर्फ़ वही है”

मोल भाव कर उठाया थैला और कंधे पर लटकाया

सोच समझकर चतुराई से नारी ने सौ का नोट बढ़ाया

“अरे बहना! छुट्टा देदो; मैं छुट्टा कहाँ से दूँगा?

छुट्टा लाने बैठा तो ,ये भाजी कैसे बेचुँगा?”

“कहीं से लाकर देदो भैया, छुट्टा मेरे पास नहीं हैं

या एक किलो बांधो कटहल पर तीस का दाम सही है

और साथ में बांधो दो किलो आलू और एक किलो प्याज भी तोलो

Tu

कितना होता है जोड़ लगाओ और थोड़ा ठीक दाम भी बोलो”

“बीस की गोभी,तीस का कटहल और आलू का तीस लगाया

पच्चीस का प्याज भी डाला तो एक सौ पाँच जोड़कर आया”

फिर पाँच रुपये देने को नारी ने दूसरा सौ का नोट बढ़ाया

“बाद में ले लूँगा बहनजी” कहकर दुकानदार ने, थैला उसको पकड़ाया|

ऊफ्फ!! आज ना जाने सुनसान गली में क्यूँ हाहाकार मचा है?

बुधवार आज सड़ककिनारे सब्जी बाजार सज़ा है|

MY SPEECH, A RESULT OF MY EFFORTS

(A SHORT STORY FROM MY CHILDHOOD)

From the age of my childhood I ever tried to learn the things from my father , family , society and my school and I always questioned what I couldn’t get easily and tried to understand and know the fact. I used to revise my course from school many times and never gave up. Here’s an incident from my tuition class when I was in 6^th standard.

At that time Mr. Chandrashekhar Bisht was the class teacher. As my family was not able to pay the tuition fees he offered me a tuition class without any reimbursement. Now I had to go to the class daily in evening. He was too brilliant in the most of subjects of the courses and also taught us different topics from other subjects like social sciences, Sanskrit etc. besides the main subjects Mathematics, Science and English. I enjoyed the classes and gained a surplus there.

One day in the tuition when he was teaching us Geography, we all were listening and trying to remember the main points out of the passage he was reading. Having completed his reading he asked each of us to read the same passage one by one. Before my turn two of us had completed their reading and now it’s mine. I started to read the passage and completed about a half of it. Further in the next few lines there was a word Drakensberg, the eastern portion of the Great Escarpment, which encloses the central Southern African plateau. I tried to read it many times as it was tough for me to make the perfect pronunciation of the word, ड्रकैन्स्बैर्ग in Hindi. In my childhood I felt some hesitation in speaking fluently and thus I couldn’t able to make proper pronunciation. Everyone was laughing at me as it was quite funny to hear Drakainsbairg as Derkensberg. I was feeling ashamed and was about to weep as all could see tears into my eyes. I didn’t want to show them my weakness but I failed.

Mr. Chandrashekhar, our tuition teacher was out of the room when this incident happened. When he came back just within couple of minutes after the incident happened, he realised that something went wrong with me and asked for the reason but I didn’t replied as was I afraid of that he would also make a fun of my weakness but I was wrong. When he came to know about my problem in pronunciation of the word Drakensberg he put his hand on my shoulder and asked me to read the word again after him. His humble appearance and supportive nature made me enough confident to read the word again and I tried as much as I could at that time but failed. After short of period when there was no any improvement in my pronunciation he asked the next boy to read the passage and then next.

Now it was the time of ending the class. Everyone said good bye to him with duly respect and I also did. As soon as I came out of the room he called me and offered me a seat in front of him. He advised me not to lose my confidence but to improve my speech by making frequently efforts of reading, speaking loudly and squealing in the silent world of nature near the village, at the bank of river or into the forest where nobody could hear me. He also told me to make practices of my speech in front of the mirror. It was quite strange to hear this but I could believe in his words as he was the only person who treated me so well when I needed.

After this short conversation he gave me a chocolate and I left. Having reached the house I wondered what was happened today and what I was asked to do but it also seemed too interesting and enjoyable to make louder than louder sounds into the forest or a solitary place. That day I slept without making any effort except to talk in front of the mirror which I brought inside the bathroom and uttered in a peace sound.

The very next day I started the activity at the bank of the river because it’s not safe to do it into the forest because many dangerous and weird animals always were there in search of a meal like me. Sometimes I sat on the stone in the middle of the river and peeped out into the flowing water to see the small fishes under the bubbles formed by the water flow. I stood on the same stone and started to speak loudly towards the sky but only the word Drakensberg. I was happy to see no one there to hear my mispronunciation of the word despite of it I was enjoying the movement when only I was the only witness of my weak speech. Soon I used to do the things regularly but this time not in the same place, instead of it, in my house with a lower sound in front of the mirror. I didn’t realise when I had the voice of pure speech which I ever wanted to have. I came to know about this fact when I faced the same tuition friends when I was taking a reading of the same passage. I was afraid of the possibility of the same incident which was happened couple weeks earlier at the same place with the same guys. But this time my reading was much better than all of them and I heard the sound of praising me from them. I looked at my teacher and bowed my head towards his feet to give him my regards and thanks for what he did for me, I said “ Charan sparsh guruji.”

to promote humanity over religion

This is our green land earth, consists of several continents, countries, communities, people and nature- a whole life. Different types of cultures and religions exist here. From my birth I was told that I am Hindu and I had to follow Hinduism. I was also told that he (God) is only one but we know him by several names. It is quite acceptable and believable as our religious holy books taught us. This was the same I was doing as my ancestors did, to follow the holy books. All we do the same either we follow Hinduism, Islam, Christianity or others but the thing is that what we learnt about our religion, what we believe in and what we are doing in our lives according to our religion. Are we really the children of the almighty who is unique for all? Perhaps it is because we believe in and if not, that is only because of what we see and experience in present society.

All we know what the current religious issues are. Each of us wants to show up his superiority as a perfect and everlasting religious person. It doesn’t matter on which costs. We have ruined our dignity and sanity and also have killed our humanity.

Sometimes I would be in a doubt about the god and its uniqueness. I thought of the scenario and imagined what would happen in the past when there was no life and god made us. There were two scenes in my mind according to the points we raised about the modern religious status. First one what if he is only one. He creates all of us and gave us this precious life and called our creator. Like our parents he would never have a single thought of any misleading for his own children, he would never desire of having a dispute or fight among us. He would never want to see us killing each other in the name of the religion, to show our loyalty for him that how obedient we are. This thought conflicts the first scenario of my imagination.

Instead of the first I think that there might be several varieties of Gods who belongs to different religion and they might be having their own family. Like the emperors of various kingdoms from our history who always fought for land, prosperity and power to show themselves great. This scenario of my thinking fits the current situation of the world in the course of religion.

At present we are a world of such stupid people, communities and groups with their stupid ideologies which lead us to the devastation of humanity. If only this is the truth in this fucking world of several misguided people with their different religious ideology to enhance and enlarge the kingdom of their divine parents and make them more powerful, to hoist the flag of their kingdom by killing humanity, love and peace and to chant their name after a universal bloody crying of other human then I believe that there is no any god. Instead of being God they (gods) are only some powerful people with few super powers who only wanted us to worship them and to make them feel great and superior in the cost of humanity and its existence in this world. Then there is no difference between the god and human for me.

For those who believe in god it’s my message to all of you please don’t make a joke of his name. Follow the plus points of your religion which are right and fruitful for long time existence of life and humanity in this mortal world.

झुके कंधो से एक लकड़ी के सहारे चलते तुम

इन चश्मों से अब कुछ ही चेहरे दिखते पर

नग्न आँखों से  दुनिया के सारे रंग देख चुके तुम

खून पसीना एक करके बारह मास मेहनत करके

फ़र्ज़ अपना निभाकरके हौले-हौले कहाँ चलते तुम

रूको घड़ी दो घड़ी और सही, और पहचानो मुझको

याद करो वो दिन जब संग थे हम-तुम

याद करो तुमने ही तो हमको सिंचा था

और तुमने ही तो हमको रोपा था

आने वाले घने काले बादलों से लड़े

सच-दुख की हवाओं में खड़े रहे स्तंभ की तरह तुम

एक सहारे के सहारे चलते तुम
